  1. I agree wholly with the Madonna University mission statement. I believe that Madonna's policy of respect for each person is important because it allows students from many different backgrounds to come together and learn from each other. I also like that Madonna balances Christian values with intellectual inquiry. Overall, Madonna's mission statement makes me confident that I chose the right place to continue my education.

  2. Madonna's mission statement resonates very well with me. It preaches kindness, and care. I can say that I can agree without a doubt to this. Growing up I was raised on these morals of Kindness, openness, caring, and hospitality. The way that they use Catholic values to express how the way things around the world should be is clever, and what makes this place so nice. There's no judgement, and you don't have to be afraid of who you are. People won't judge you for what you are, and it brings everyone together. It's a very tight knit community with a lot of love and respect and care. That's always been the most important thing to me. Love, and kindness. As a young child, I was always afraid to be myself, but here I feel so comfortable, and this mission statement expresses just why I am comfortable here. The fact that it's like this shows true Catholicism. It's not like those "Catholics" and "Christians" who use the Bible to point out everything wrong with someone because they're different, and that's so important. The Bible preaches love, and kindness. God is supposed to love everyone and everything for who they are. And that's why I wholeheartedly agree with the Madonna mission statement. I look forward to my time here, and to being a part of this school, and its community.

  3. Madonna has a very welcoming environment and has done an exceptional job of adapting the programs they offer to the needs of the community. What stands out to me the most is that our Catholic faith is evident in all that Madonna University represents from the classroom to the community. Diversification, respect, and striving to help each student be successful are all elements which help to make Madonna special. As they stated in the video, you didn't come to Madonna to fit in, you came to Madonna to stand out. I agree with Madonna's mission statement and I'm glad to be a part of the Madonna family.

  7. Madonna's mission statement highlights all of the values I hold dearest to me. I believe that all people, no matter race, gender or religion, should be treated equally and fairly in all settings including universities and public facilities. Also, the reason for me choosing Madonna involves the vigor and demand that the curriculum requires. I look forward to new beginnings while helping myself and others to grow.

  8. Madonna's mission statement is something that I have seen once I enrolled and started classes. There are many people with different races, backgrounds, languages, etc. The school is diverse and that is something I enjoy and agree with. So I do agree with the mission statement that madonna has, and with all the provisions.

  9. One of the many reasons why I chose Madonna was because of how much I connected with the mission statement itself. I was raised to be accepting of diversity and serving others. I've also always been a very firm believer of peace and equality for everyone. Without any of these qualities, I don't think you could ever be a successful Madonna student without these values. Madonna allows students who are different religions, cultures, race, etc. to all come together without judgement. I honestly think that's a great quality for a college to have. Since I've been here, I've realized how diverse the campus actually is, how easy it is to express yourself, and be accepted for who you really are. Madonna University is so special and I'm so thankful to be a part of the Madonna family and because of this, I agree with the mission statement that Madonna has.

  10. I wholeheartedly agree with the mission statement. Respect is a huge part of my life and I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect. This university focuses on making every student feel more involved in their community while also providing a higher level of education. Knowing that I will get the education I desire while being connected to my community, confirms that this is the school for me. I look forward to the next four years here at Madonna.

  11. I completely agree with Madonna's mission statement. I especially love the parts about Christian humanistic values, a respect for diversity, and commitment to service and service learning. The main reason I chose Madonna is because it is a Catholic college, so I love that the Christian values are being instilled in the students here. Respect for diversity is important, and I love that part. Being from East Lansing, I am so used to lots of diverse people, since I am right by MSU. The part about service and service learning is important because I love serving and helping others. I love the opportunity to do service learning, since that is something I've always wanted to do. All of these reasons are why I chose to attend Madonna University. Again, I wholeheartedly agree with all of the provisions of Madonna's mission statement.

  13. Today, there are around seven billion people who live in the same world as we do. Each individual is unlike the other, with a different story to tell. What we can say is one university who takes the name Madonna, stands apart from all other educational institutions in the world. It's a place for people to be themselves unlike most universities who count you as a mass number with limited respect to who you are and where you are from. With the diversity in this college, people commit to connect with each other and form a family with impossible bonds to break; as well as working with each other toward success. At Madonna University, people are encouraged to find who they truly are meant to be at a place they can call home. After finishing my first week at Madonna, I am convinced that I have made the right choice and I am excited to fulfill mu future plans at this university.
